The Family Finances is a blog for those of us that are continually working to balance the demands of family, work, time, and money.  Life is busy, and we can use all the help we can get to find ways to make it simpler.

Who Am I?

I’m just a guy in my late 20′s trying to become a better husband and father.  We’re getting by financially, but it’s a challenge to “get ahead” and make the kind of progress we’d like to make.

We have a baby boy who is almost about a year and a half old.  Being a parent is an awesome responsibility, and we are loving it.

I am always on the lookout for areas I can be a better husband, a better father, a better provider, a better employee, and just a better person.  This blog is to share what I find…
