Every weekend I list several blog posts from the week that I thought were really good. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.
My wife has been getting really bad headaches quite frequently for a while now. By “a while” I mean literally a couple years. They tried switching her birth control pills a few times to see if it would help, but it never helped anything. She’d always just bear through it. Recently they’ve been increasing in both frequency and severity. She went to the doctor and now has an MRI scheduled for next week (on Valentine’s Day).
I don’t get headaches very often, but I have had a couple experiences with migraines. I know they literally cripple you, and you don’t feel like doing anything at all. Since my wife is the primary caregiver to our two-year old son, doing nothing all day is simply not an option for her. I can’t imagine going week in and week out with having a headache four or five days every week. Hopefully the MRI will show something, and we can get the source of her chronic headaches figured out.

Thanks for the mention Justin. Sorry to hear about your wife’s migraines. I dated a girl in high school who dealt with the same exact thing and always felt bad for what she was going through. I hope the doctors will be able to find something that’ll help take care of them.

On a lighter note… to fix your headaches maybe you should switch your birth control pills
