Friends of the Family: Tired of Political Ads Edition

On Saturdays I list several blog posts from the week that I thought were really good. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

I’m quite excited about this coming Tuesday. As you know, this coming Tuesday is Election Day, where we can all exercise our right to vote for our political leaders. Of course, I’m excited about the actual elections themselves. I know who I’m voting for, and I’m hopeful that my candidates come out ahead. But I’m also excited about the end of all the political ads. It seems like every other commercial on television is some sort of political ad. The crazy thing is that we live in Indiana, which isn’t even a battleground state. I can’t begin to imagine how the people in states like Ohio and Florida feel.

Thanks for mentioning a blog post from Canadian Budget Binder. The one thing about elections Is the marketing and PR it’s everywhere. I guess that’s the way it goes. Have a great rest of the weekend. Cheers Mr.CBB

Thanks for the mention. I too can’t wait for Tuesday to be here and gone. We live Omaha and since we share a TV market with Council Bluffs we get all the ads as Iowa is considered a swing state. Have a great rest of the weekend.

Thanks so much for the include Justin! Appreciate it.

I am very curious to see what becomes of the U.S. economy after the election.

Us people in Florida are so sick of them. I watched the news one day and I swear every single ad was a political ad!

I already voted so even if my candidate doesn’t win I’ll be glad it is over.
